Az-Zukhruf 43:56

فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ سَلَفًۭا وَمَثَلًۭا لِّلْءَاخِرِينَ

Faja'alnaahum salafanw wa masalal lil aakhireen

And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages.
